Nothing like the Dharma to offer us some guidance on some of life’s most interesting journey’s. For my money, I’ve found few experiences as rewarding and as challenging as being a parent. But as my wife so often reminds me, it’s always good for practice.

With this in mind, here’s another set of offerings for Buddhist parents.

For both Buddhist and non-Buddhist mothers and fathers, it is possible to apply the teachings of the Buddha to be more compassionate, aware and loving. Not just that, children learn from example and seeing one’s parents apply Buddhist teachings is one of the best ways for a child to learn about Buddhism.
