In this talk Michael suggests that our attachment to doubt is related to not committing ourselves to conscious living. From doubt, he says, we usually move into a realm where we become convinced of our own surety. When this conviction unfolds we diminish our opportunity to awaken.

In this talk, Michael addresses what gets in our way as we try to awaken. From the Buddhist perspective, sensual desire, anger, sloth & torpor, restlessness & worry, and doubt, work to keep each of us in an egoically contracted state of delusion. In this talk, Michael addresses what it means to live a life that incorporates Spirit. Issues of the conventional and Ultimate Truths are discussed as well as the ego’s dance on the stage of mind. Pain and fear are seen through the lens of time and we also are pointed in a direction that allows for us to see how the ego itself is totally bound by time. Our Freedom, according to Michael’s talk, is expressed when we let go of our addiction to the movement of ego and then act from a place of stillness. Note: We apologize for the varience in the sound quality. We’re getting closer to getting it right, but the tweaking continues.

ISmile53 – No Mistakes, Just Teaching

In this talk, Michael suggests that all circumstances pave the Path to Awakening. Circumstances remind us of our preferences, which remind us of our attachments, which remind us of our delusion, which reminds us to Awaken. Only in the realm of this delusion, can the contracted self-sense, or ego, offer up judgements, evaluations, and manipulations. Among other things, the solution to this dillema is to face our lives without flinching, according to Michael. From here we can study our circumstances and expand into and from the greatest of all Mysteries.
